Barcelona achieved a wide victory (4-2) during the match against Atletico Madrid, on Sunday evening, in the framework of the 23rd round of La Liga, in the Blaugrana stronghold “Camp Nou”.
For Barcelona, Alba, Gavi, Araujo, and Alves scored in the 10th, 21st, 43rd, and 49th minutes, while for Atletico Madrid Carrasco and Suarez scored in the 8th and 58th minutes.
With this victory, Barcelona raised its score to 38 points in fourth place in the La Liga standings, while Atlético Madrid’s balance froze at 36 points in fifth place.

The match began with pressure from Barcelona, and Ferran Torres sent a powerful ground shot that passed the left post of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak in the 5th minute.
Yannick Carrasco managed to score the first goal for Atletico Madrid from the first opportunity for the visitors in the match, in the 8th minute, when Luis Suarez passed a cross from the right side of Carrasco inside the area, which inhabited the ball below the right of Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen.
The response came quickly from Barcelona, with the goal of equalizing only two minutes later, with a cross ball inside the area from Dani Alves that reached Jordi Alba, who hit the bird, far to the left of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Oblak.
Atlético Madrid striker Joao Felix hit the left side and hit the left post of the Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen in the 19th minute.

At the beginning of the second half, Dani Alves scored Barcelona’s fourth goal, in the 49th minute, as he received a cross into the penalty area from his colleague Jaffe and hit his right under the right of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
And the match referee awarded a direct free kick to Atletico Madrid, which Carrasco carried out directly on the Barcelona goal, and goalkeeper Ter Stegen starred in stopping it and turning it into a corner in the 57th minute.
Luis Suarez scored the second goal for Atletico Madrid, in the 58th minute, with a header, receiving the ball from Jimenez and heading directly into Ter Stegen’s net, and refused to celebrate.
Alves intervened violently at the feet of Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco, and the match referee decided to resort to video technology, which proved the mistake on the Brazilian star, and the most famous direct red card in the face of Alves in the 69th minute, to put Barcelona in trouble until the end of the match.
Attempts by Barcelona continued to widen the difference and others from Atletico to reduce the result, but without anything new, the Blaugrana scored the three points and the team jumped to the golden square.
