Roma sweeps Feyenoord and reaches the European League Golden Square

Roma, Italy, defeated its Dutch guest Feyenoord (4-1), today, Thursday, in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the European Football League.

The first leg in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, ended with Feyenoord winning (1-0), so Roma qualified (4-2) on aggregate.

Roma took the lead through Leonardo Spinazzola in the 60th minute, before Igor Guilherme equalized for Feyenoord in the 80th minute.

In the 89th minute, Paulo Dybala scored the second goal for Roma, to resort to two additional halves.

In the 101st minute, in the first extra period, Stephan El Shaarawy scored the third goal for Roma, and eight minutes later Lorenzo Pellegrini scored the fourth goal.

Roma will face, in the semi-finals, the German team Bayer Leverkusen, which in turn defeated the Belgian Union Saint-Gilloise (4-1), to qualify for the next round after its superiority (5-2) in the aggregate of the two matches.
