Milan Achieves Easy Victory over Lazio, Temporarily Jumps to Fourth Place
Milan secured an easy 2-0 victory over Lazio at the San Siro stadium on May 6th, 2023, as part of the 34th round of the Italian League. Algerian Ismail Bennacer opened the score in the 17th minute with the first goal, and Theo Hernandez doubled the lead in the 29th minute. With this victory, Milan raised its score to 61 points, temporarily jumping to fourth place, while Lazio’s balance froze at 64 points in second place.
First Half
In the eighth minute, Jiro cut the ball from the middle of the field to pass it to Liao, who carried out a quick counterattack, penetrated into the area, and tried to hit the ball into the net. However, he was unable to score as Providel caught the ball from his own goal.
