AC Milan ‘s gained a draw thanks to Alexis Saelemaekers.
In their Champions League Group E opener against Austrian team Salzburg on Tuesday, AC Milan‘s defending Serie A champions gained a 1-1 draw thanks to midfielder Alexis Saelemaekers.
After Milan forward Olivier Giroud leaped out of the way to create the opening,
Rafael Leao found Saelemaekers in the heart of the penalty area to equalise in the 40th minute.

Noah Okafor,
a forward for Salzburg,
nutmegged defender Pierre Kalulu and scored from the corner of the six-yard box in the 28th minute to give his team the lead.
The opening ten minutes were tense as Salzburg
pressured their opponents but ran across a resolute Milan team that was also trying to put the hosts under strain.
After Salzburg forward Fernando missed an opportunity to score from a cross in the 53rd minute when his shot sailed well above the crossbar,
the ball remained in midfield for the majority of the second half.
Near the end of the game,
the action ramped up again, and in the fourth minute of extra time,
Leao came close to winning it, but his shot hit the post instead.
On September 14, when Milan hosts Dinamo Zagreb,
Salzburg will visit Chelsea,
who had previously fallen 1-0 away to Dinamo Zagreb.
