With two goals from Lionel Messi and a third from Julien Alvarez, Argentina!!!!! defeated Jamaica 3-0.

Alvarez scored the game’s first goal (in the 13th minute), and until Messi entered the field in

the 56th minute and scored his two goals in the 87th and 89th minutes, the score indicated

that Argentina advanced with a single goal.


Messi played for about 30 minutes and didn’t need much longer to lead Lionel Scaloni’s

team to their 35th straight victory in a competitive match, tying Spain’s unbeaten streak

from 2007 to 2009 and Brazil’s from 1993 to 1996.

The security personnel intervened in the first two tries to stop the supporters from achieving their goals, and in the third try, a fan came close to realizing his dream as Messi took up the pen from Liu to sign a commemorative signature on his back before the personnel stepped in to stop it.
