Arsenal sweeps Palace and continues to soar at the top of the Premier League

Arsenal continued to soar at the top of the Premier League, by defeating its guest, Crystal Palace, with a score (4-1), this evening, Sunday, at the Emirates Stadium, in the 28th round of the competition.
Arsenal scored Gabriel Martinelli (28), Bucayo Saka (43-74), and Granit Xhaka (55), while Crystal Palace scored Jeffrey Schlupp (63).
Arsenal raised its score to 69 in the lead, 8 points ahead of runner-up Manchester City, and Crystal Palace’s balance stopped at 27 points in 12th place.
Crystal Palace started the match strongly after Zaha hit a ball that hit the post, then Odegaard aimed from the edge of the area and Whitworth tackled it.
Arsenal opened the scoring in the 28th minute after Saka sent a cross from the right side, which Martinelli received and hit a powerful ball into the net.
And Arsenal searched for the addition of the second goal, by rising from Partey to a cross sent by Odegaard, with a header that passed next to the post.
The Norwegian Martin Odegaard almost boosted Arsenal’s lead, with a ground shot from inside the area, but it passed next to the post.
Bukayo Saka added Arsenal’s second goal in the 43rd minute, with a distinctive ground shot from inside the area that hit the net.
Barty hit a floor from outside the area, but his ball passed next to the post, so the first half ended with Arsenal advancing (2-0).
At the beginning of the second half, Zaha hit a powerful ball from the left side of the penalty area, Ramsdale shone in sending it to a corner.
Arsenal succeeded in scoring the third goal in the 55th minute after Trossard passed a through pass to Xhaka, who hit the ball into the net.
Crystal Palace managed to reduce the difference in the 63rd minute after Schlopp followed a cross that paved in front of him to shoot directly into the net.
And Arsenal re-emerged, by rising from substitute Jesus for a cross from a corner kick, hitting a header that passed next to the post.
Palace almost added the second goal when Zaha received a through ball inside the area to single Bramsdel, and hit a ball that passed just past the post.
Arsenal continued the goal festival by adding the fourth in the 74th minute after Tierney sent a cross, which Saka followed with a shot that hit the net.
Martin Odegaard hit a powerful ball from the border of the area, which went over the crossbar, to end the match with Arsenal’s victory (4-1).
