Barcelona shake Mestalla by sweeping Valencia

An English press report revealed, today, Sunday, new developments regarding the transfer of French striker Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain, to Real Madrid next summer.

Mbappe’s contract expires at the Princes Park, at the end of the current season, amid many news that he agreed with Real Madrid to move for free in the summer of 2022.

Reports had indicated that Mbappe had not decided his decision yet, in light of Saint-Germain’s strong desire to renew his contract.

Calm prevailed before Ferran Torres took off, passing a ball to Aubameyang, which the latter failed to control, to waste the chance to advance in the 19th minute.

Carlos Soler scored for Valencia in the 41st minute, with a scissor kick to the far left of Ter Stegen, but the match referee canceled this goal as well because the ball left the field at the beginning of the attack, which was proven by video technology.

Soler returned to score a goal for Valencia in the 52nd minute when he received a cross from Brian Gill to header into the net of Ter Stegen without supervision.

But Pedri, Barcelona midfielder, returned the difference to 3 goals, adding the fourth goal in the 63rd minute, through a missile strike from outside the penalty area.

Ter Stegen starred in stopping a powerful header from Valencia’s Hugo Douro, in the 74th minute.

Barcelona tried in the last minutes to increase the scoring goal, without succeeding in that, so the match ended with a victory (4-1).
