De Jong saves Barcelona from defeat against Espanyol
Barcelona scored a fatal draw with its host Espanyol (2-2), on Sunday evening, in the 24th round of La Liga.
Pedri scored for Barca in the 2nd minute, Luke de Jong (90 + 6), Serge Darder scored for Espanyol in the 40th minute, and Raul de Tomas scored in the 64th minute.
With this tie, the Blaugrana raised its score to 39 points, in fourth place, and Espanyol raised its score to 28 points, in thirteenth place.
The match began with Barcelona scoring an early goal, in the 2nd minute, when Jordi Alba sent a cross from the left side to Pedri, who shot directly into the net.

At the start of the second half, Barcelona midfielder Javi succeeded in adding the second goal for his team, but the match referee canceled it after referring to the video technology, which proved the presence of an offside case against Ferran Torres.
