culminated in a surprising victory for Borussia Dortmund (5th) over Bayern Munich (3rd).
However, Edin Terzic set up the marsupials for this meeting at Signal Iduna Park in a 4-2-3-1 formation
with Alexander Meyer in the cages behind Niklas Süle, Mats Hummel, Nico Schlotterbeck,
and Raphael Guerreiro. Emre Can and Salih zcan formed the double pivot. Youssouf
Moukoko was the only one in the lead, and Donyell Malen, Jude Bellingham, and Julian
Brandt provided support. He arranged the Rekordmeister in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with
Benjamin Pavard, Dayot Upamecano, Matthijs de Ligt, and Alphonso Davies in front of
Manuel Neuer as the final bulwark.
Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala, and Sadio Mané supported Serge Gnabry while Marcel Sabitzer and Leon Goretzka carried the game.
Bayern Munich was well prepared and preferred to leave the ball in their opponent’s hands as the match got off to a slow start. Borussia Dortmund well utilized the wings to create a few minor opportunities, and on a corner from Donyel Malen, Nico Schlotterbeck stood out with a header (22nd).
