Incredible goals for Barcelona in the European League!
Pedri, a teenage Barcelona player,
scored a fantastic goal to help Barcelona advance to the Europa League quarter-finals.
With Xavi’s team behind 1-0 to Galatasaray of Turkey
19-year-old Pedri went up to score a goal from the top drawer.
With his solo strike, Pedri mimicked Messi‘s style.
Aubameyang’s goal proved to be the game-winner.
After being sent in by a lovely reverse ball from January acquisition Ferran Torres,
the small midfielder found himself with room in the area.
Galatasaray captain Marcao came in to try to take the ball away from him,
but Pedri just slipped it past him,
leaving him on his backside.
Berkan Kutlu was also on the turf after a drop of the shoulder,
before Pedri showed ice cold composure to stroke home beyond Galatasaray goalkeeper Inaki Pena.
Fans on social media were drooling over the goal,
with many drawing analogies between Pedri and Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
After witnessing the goal, one gushed:
“Pedri has made some despicably Messi-like feints. Madness.”
Another person added:
“Pedri scored a fantastic goal.
Th is is one of Messi’s favourites.”
