Lionel Messi in Paris Saint-Germain : Lionel Messi has not even been in Paris Saint-Germain for two full months before he has had a huge impact on the team.

Ander Herrera was impressed by Messi’s behind-the-scenes leadership of the French team.

In a conversation with Cadena Ser’s “El Larguero” program, Herrera expressed her views on Messi’s Undertheradar leadership qualities in the team.

“There is a leadership style in football,” Herrera said. “There are words, there are captains who encourage, and there are leaders who set an example. This is Leo. If he arrives in Paris and becomes the first person to enter the gym, if he doesn’t joke about lap counts, then he is an example of a leader.

“When you see that the first place is not joking, young players will say:’If the first place is like this, we must follow him.”
Messi started his PSG career rather slowly. The Argentine finished his first two games without the team contributing a goal.
