Milan received a historic loss against its guest, Sassuolo, by (5-2), this evening, Sunday, in the 20th round of the Italian League.
Sassuolo’s quintet scored “Gregory Defrel (19), David Frazzi (22), Domenico Berardi (30), Armand Llorent from a penalty kick (47), Mateus Henrique (79)”, while Milan’s goals were scored by “Olivier Giroud (24) and Divock Origi (81).
With Milan’s loss, the team’s balance froze at 38 points, to drop to fourth place, while Sassuolo raised its score to 20 points in 16th place.
Milan started the match quickly and succeeded in scoring the lead goal after 8 minutes, via Giro, but the referee canceled it due to offside after returning to video technology.
Sassuolo’s first threat came in the 18th minute. From a ball that reached striker Lorient on the left side inside the area, he fired a powerful shot that was blocked by goalkeeper Tatarusano.

And the guests got a penalty kick only 36 seconds after the start of the half, after Loriont fell after contact with Calabria inside the area, and Loriont managed to score it successfully in the 47th minute.
Rebic scored a goal for Milan in the 54th minute, but after returning to video technology, the referee canceled the goal for offside.
Milan had an opportunity to reduce the score, after Liao passed from the left wing, and passed inside the area to Rebic, who fired a shot over the crossbar.
