Atlético described him as “a strong midfielder” and he “felt” feels “comfortable” when he joins the offense.

And able to score and provide goals for teammates”.

The Spanish championship team announced on Monday that Rodrigo DePaul has signed a five-year contract with Atletico Madrid. And he helped the Argentine team win the Copa America over the weekend.

“Atletico Madrid has reached an agreement with Udinese on the transfer of Rodrigo DePaul” until June 2026.

The La Liga champion said in a statement.

Atlético did not give a transfer fee, but according to Spanish media reports, it was around 35 million euros (41 million US dollars).

For the 27-year-old midfielder, this will be the second phase of Spain, who came to Valencia from the Argentine racing team between 2014 and 2016.

Valencia will also benefit from the transfer, which is a clause for the sale of DePaul to Udinese to ensure that they get a certain percentage of the deal.
