Real de Madrid beat Mallorca at the Bernabéu
In the fifth round of the La Liga championship on Sunday evening at the Meringue fortress, “Santiago Bernabeu,” Real de Madrid defeated Real Mallorca by a score of 4-1.
The goals for Real de Madrid came from Fede Valverde in the minute (45 + 3), Vinicius
Junior in the minute (72), Rodrygo in the minute (89), and Antonio Rudiger in the minute
(90 + 3), while Vedat Muriki scored the lone goal for Real Mallorca in the minute (35).
Real Madrid regains the top spot in the La Liga standings with this win, moving up to 15
points, two points ahead of Barcelona in second place, while Mallorca’s standings remain
frozen at 5 points in thirteenth.
Real de Madrid vs Real Mallorca: An early danger
The first minute of the game saw a threat from the visitors as Mallorca striker Murichi sent
a strong shot that Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid saved.
Moreover, Real Madrid responded in the fifth minute with a shot from midfielder Dani
Ceballos that was twice saved by Mallorca goalkeeper Rajkovic on the fringe of the penalty area.
In the 14th minute, Toni Kroos of Real Madrid’s midfield sent a ball from the edge of the penalty area that went adjacent to Mallorca’s left goal post.
