Cristiano Ronaldo transfer news Man Utd
cr7 is not for sale, Although there have been rumours associating the Portuguese star with a spectacular transfer to Chelsea, and Manchester United expects him to stay at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo may wish to go, according to rumours,
as a result of United’s inability to make the Champions League and its lack of signings thus far this summer.
Although Ronaldo was brought up during a meeting between his agency Jorge Mendes and Chelsea’s new co-owner Todd Boehly last week,
new United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Ronaldo is a part of his future plans.
Twelve years after leaving United for Real Madrid, Ronaldo returned to the team last summer. He scored 24 goals in 38 appearances to finish as the club’s leading scorer across all competitions.
Despite United’s sixth-place Premier League finish and fifth straight season without a trophy,
cr7 vowed his allegiance to the team earlier this month.
When his United contract expires the following summer, he will be 38.
cr7 revealed the following in an interview with the team:
“Naturally, I was thrilled to be back in the club that helped advance my career,
so the feeling when I returned was incredible. It was pleasant to sense the supporters’ joy, which was wonderful.
“I’ve got to tell the fans that they are great because I was and still am ecstatic to be here. They always stand with us and support us, even when we lose games.
The supporters of cr7 are always in my heart and it’s the people that we all should respect because they are always on our side.
About cr7, “The most important thing to me is trying to win games,
attempting to win a cup or a title, but I think Manchester will end up where they belong. As I’ve said previously, it can take time, but I still have faith.”
After being introduced as the new manager of United, Ten Hag quickly declared that he was eager to keep Ronaldo.
If Ronaldo fits into his plan, Ten Hag responded, “Of course,” when questioned.
He only added, “Goals!” in response to what cr7 will offer.
When questioned about whether he wanted Ronaldo to take the reins,
he responded, “I talk first with Ronaldo before I chat with you.”
Ten Hag had been welcomed by Ronaldo, who insisted that the Dutchman could help the team win additional championships.
