World Cup Qualifiers – Germany ends their qualifying campaign with a four in Armenia

Germany ends their qualifying campaign !!

Germany beat Armenia by four goals to one at the conclusion of the group stage of Europe’s 2022 World Cup qualification.
Germany’s Kai Havertz, Ilkay Gundogan and Jonas Hoffmann scored, while Henrik Mechterian scored Armenia’s only goal.

The German team began with a formation led by Marc-Andrei Ter Stegen in goalkeeping, while Thomas Müller and Leroy Sanni led the line of attack.
Havertz advanced to Germany in the 15th minute, using Hoffmann’s occasional use, to put the one-touch ball into the net.

Gondogan added the second goal in the final minute of the first inning, from a successful penalty kick.

Five minutes after the start of the second leg, Gondogan returned to score the third goal with a poor shot from outside the penalty area that the goalkeeper could not get right.

Mkhtaryan reduced Armenia’s score in t he 58th minute of a penalty kick he threw in the middle of the goal.

In the 64th minute Hoffmann finished the German quad using Armenia’s pass error, passing the defender and pushing the ball into the net.

The match was a draw for both teams, whether Germany’s official qualification for the World Cup, or Armenia’s exit and non-competitive qualification.

In another group match held at the same time, North Macedonia beat Iceland by three goals to one, ensuring Macedonia’s second place and qualification for Europe’s World Cup qualification.

In the third match, Romania defeated Liechtenstein by two goals to zero.
