Liverpool’ put an end to Newcastle’s ambitions

Liverpool’ momentarily climbed to the top of the English Premier League after defeating Newcastle United 1-0 on Saturday evening in the 35th round.

In the 19th minute, Naby Keita scored the game’s only goal. With this win, Liverpool’s tally increased to 82 points, two points ahead of Manchester City, who will later face Leeds United, while Newcastle’s tally remained static at 43 points in ninth position.

Jurgen Klopp used the traditional 4-3-3 formation, with Joe Gomez filling up for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right back in exchange for Andy Robertson on the left wing.

the crossbar, and Liverpool goalkeeper Alison Becker cleared the ball before it reached the delighted St. Maximin in the 17th minute.

Despite the score, Liverpool continued to dominate, spearheaded by Keita,

when Dubravaca took the ball from him in front of Jota and passed it to Robertson,

In the 53rd minute, Liverpool came close to doubling their lead as Gomez made his way
