In a nutshell, Paali terminates Denmark’s winning streak.
Denmark had the better of the first half,

but Joakim Maehle’s shot into the side-netting and Andreas Cornelius’ effort both saved by Dominik Livakovi.

At halftime, Croatia made three substitutions in an attempt to enliven their play,

and one of the substitutes, Luka Modri, tested Kasper Schmeichel from outside the box.

Finally, Modri also involved in the evening’s lone goal, his ball setting up Brozovi to cross,

and after a couple of deflections, it fell to Paali to poke it home.
