In a nutshell, Paali terminates Denmark’s winning streak.
Denmark had the better of the first half,

but Joakim Maehle’s shot into the side-netting and Andreas Cornelius’ effort both saved by Dominik Livakovi.

At halftime, Croatia made three substitutions in an attempt to enliven their play,

and one of the substitutes, Luka Modri, tested Kasper Schmeichel from outside the box.

Finally, Modri also involved in the evening’s lone goal, his ball setting up Brozovi to cross,

and after a couple of deflections, it fell to Paali to poke it home.

Croatia

As their winning streak at home came to an end, Denmark pushed men forward but struggled to test Livakovi.

For the sold-out Parken crowd, this was not the best match.

It was a close race that could have gone any way,

but the visitors came out on top in the end. Denmark dominated the first half,

but Dali’s insertion of Modri at halftime turned the game around for Croatia,

who were the better team in the second half. In this group, nothing decided yet.
