In response, Dortmund’s Ozkan fired a strong shot from the edge of the box in the 16th

minute, but Ederson saved it.

posing a serious threat to the goal, resulting in a goalless draw to conclude the first half.

Haaland incredible goals

Dortmund had a chance to score first at the start of the second half in the 52nd minute after

Royce received Binya from Ozkan inside the area and used him to control Akanji before he

shot a ball that missed the post.
Bellingham changed the direction of Royce’s shot from within the box in the 56th minute,

shaking Ederson’s goal, and Dortmund scored their first goal.

Following the goal, Guardiola acted immediately to fix the problem by making three

replacements at once, replacing Mahrez, Gundogan, and Grealish with Foden, Bernardo,

and Alvarez.

After De Bruyne sent Haaland into the penalty area in the 66th minute, City attempted to

equalize by hitting the Norwegian with a hard shot that struck the post.

In the 80th minute, after Stones hit a shot from the edge of the penalty area that landed in the Dortmund net, Man City was able to change the outcome.
The second goal was quickly added by Manchester City in the 84th minute when Cancelo made a notable cross outside the foot, which Haaland received and directly shot on goal from within the box.

Dortmund tried to get an immediate equalizer after Meunier’s direct shot that went next to the post in the 85th minute after Reus crossed to him inside the box.

Alvarez’s strong ground shot from within the box nearly resulted to Man City’s third goal in the 89th minute, but Dortmund’s goalkeeper made a spectacular save.

The game was won by the hosts when Melin Stones and Phillips maneuvered on the left side of the penalty area and fired a ball beyond the post in the third minute of stoppage time.
