In the 75th minute, RB Salzburg pulled even. After some shoddy Chelsea defending,
Noah Okafor defeated Kepa Arrizabalaga with a deflected shot
as Thiago Silva was held accountable for a mistake on defence.
As Chelsea hosts RB Salzburg in the Champions League tonight,
Graham Potter assumes managerial duties for the first time. Potter has acknowledged that although though Thomas Tuchel’s firing was only seven days ago,
it felt like months because of the Blues’ loss to Dinamo Zagreb.
In order to avoid losing too much distance in Group E before playing AC Milan twice in a row,
Chelsea must pick up their play under the new manager right away.
