Argentina showed off its individual and collective power this Wednesday to thrash the United Arab Emirates 5-0, in their last friendly match before the start of the World Cup in Qatar.

Two goals from Ángel Di María (the excluding figure of the match), and one each from Lionel Messi, Julián Álvarez and Joaquín Correa put the final figures on the match played in Abu Dhabi.

Although it was a friendly match that had almost no friction, Argentina put almost the best it has on the field (Cristian Romero and Lautaro Martínez did not play as a precaution, both regular starters) and showed the level it has maintained for some time, which makes it one of the great favorites to stay with the World Cup that begins next Sunday.

To highlight: there were no injuries and, against all odds, Lionel Messi played the full 90 minutes. Good test for the South American team.
