Arsenal beats Leeds and soars to the top of the table

Arsenal continued to soar at the top of the English Premier League standings, by defeating its guest Leeds United (4-1), this evening, Saturday, at the Emirates Stadium, in the 29th round matches. The match was full of action, with both teams displaying high-quality football. Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus was the star of the show, scoring four goals in just two minutes (35, 55), followed by Ben White (47) and Granit Xhaka (84), while Leeds scored the only goal by Rasmus Christensen (76).
The match started with a promising performance from Leeds, launching a powerful shot from Rasmus Christensen from inside the area in the first minute. However, Arsenal’s goalkeeper, Ramsdale, shone by stopping the shot. The response came from Arsenal in the 11th minute when Jesus rose to a cross from Xhaka, but his powerful header went over the crossbar. The match calmed down until Leeds returned to threaten Arsenal in the 30th minute, with a ground shot from Summerville from inside the penalty area, but Ramsdell saved it easily.
Leeds almost opened the scoring after that in the 31st minute when Harrison received a pin inside the area, and hit a powerful ball that Ramsdale shone in tackling. Arsenal then got a penalty kick in the 33rd minute after Jesus was hampered by Eiling, and Jesus successfully executed the kick in the 35th minute, with a ground shot in the middle of the goal.
Arsenal almost added the second goal in the 41st minute when Mellier came out of his own net to clear a through ball, but he hit a weak ball that Martinelli snatched. He hit the empty goal, but Eiling pushed the ball away before it hit the net. The first half ended with Arsenal leading 1-0.
Arsenal started the second half strongly by adding the second goal in the 47th minute when Martinelli sent a cross from the left side, followed by White with a direct shot from inside the 6-yard area, which hit the crossbar and went into the net. Arsenal then added the third goal in the 55th minute, with Jesus following a ground pass from Trossard from inside the area, hitting a direct ball that hit the net.
