Bayern Munich continued its failure to taste victory since the beginning of 2023, with its fatal draw with its guest Cologne (1-1), in a match that brought them together today, Tuesday, at the Allianz Arena, in the 17th round of the German League.

The first goal of the match came early through Tunisian midfielder Elias Skhiri in the fourth minute, before Joshua Kimmich equalized for Bayern in the 90th minute.

Bayern remained on top of the Bundesliga ranking table with 36 points, while Colin reached point 21 in tenth place.

Colin ignited the match early, with a surprise goal against the hosts through Al-Sakhiri, who received a ball from his teammate Chabot’s header, to meet it with a direct touch into the net.

The Bavarian team tried to respond with a first shot, which Sani fired from outside the penalty area, but it went wide of the goal.

And goalkeeper Malvern Schwab stood in the way of blocking Gnabry’s access to his net after he brilliantly blocked a Bayern winger’s shot near his own goal.

Bayern was close to equalizing through a missile shot from Pavard inside the penalty area, but Colin’s goalkeeper brilliantly saved it, turning it into Goritska, who directed it with a header outside the field.

Despite the intense Bavarian pressure, Colin’s steadfastness prevented him from reaching his net until the end of the first half, with the latter advancing (1-0).

After returning from the break, Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann decided to make two substitutions at the start of the second half by inserting Kingsley Coman and Ryan Gravenbirch at the expense of Gnabry and Goritska.

The first Bavarian attempt in the second half came with a long-range shot from Pavard, but the ball settled easily in the arms of the Cologne goalkeeper.

Schwab returned to denying the hosts the score, with his brilliant save from substitute Muller’s header, which turned into a corner.

Choupo Moting missed a goal opportunity after receiving a through pass inside the penalty area before he dodged the visitors’ goalkeeper, but he hit the ball at the post, but the assistant referee raised his flag due to the offside of the Cameroonian striker.

A few seconds before the end of normal time, Kimmich ignited the match in its last minutes with a missile shot from a distance, to change its direction in the air before turning into the net, equalizing the score for the Bavarian team.

Bayern tried to catch its guest net with another deadly goal in the last moments by shooting at the bird from Sani, but the latter hit it in the stands, so the match ended in a draw (1-1).
