Hard defeat of Germany at the start of the World Cup in Qatar 2022: Japan turned it around

Germany , one of the candidates, began its path in the worst way in the World Cup in Qatar 2022 : it lost 2-1  against  Japan , for the first date of Group E (it shares it with Spain and Costa Rica ). Ilkay Gündogan , from a penalty, opened the scoring. Ritsu Doan and Takuma Asano turned it around for the Japanese.

Although at the beginning it seemed that it would be more even, Germany quickly used all its soccer power to dominate Japan . But beware, the first chance was for the Japanese: they pressed in midfield, they stole it and Daizen Maeda scored the first goal of the afternoon, but he was offside
