The Kazakhstan national team blew up a heavy-caliber surprise in the European Championship qualifiers (Euro 2024), after overturning its 0-2 deficit against its guest, Denmark, to an exciting victory (3-2) in the final minutes of the second round of the Group Eight matches in the qualifiers.
Kazakhstan won the first 3 points in the group, after losing (1-2) to Slovenia last Thursday in the open ing round, to advance to second place temporarily.
While Denmark’s national team balance stopped at 3 points, in fourth place temporarily, after it started its career in the group with a 3-1 victory over Finland last Thursday.
Denmark advanced with two clean goals in the first half, carrying the signature of Rasmus Hollund in the 21st and 36th minutes, before the Kazakhstan national team turned the tables.
The Kazakhstan national team equalized, after scoring two goals, scored by Bakhtiar Zaindinov from a penalty kick in the 73rd minute, and Ashat Tajibergen in the 86th minute.
The Kazakhstan national team was not satisfied with the equalizing point, after Ayat Aimbetov scored the third goal in the 89th minute, to give the hosts their first victory in the qualifiers.
