Messi titles: what could Messi achieve more?
Messi titles and achievements : What is missing from Lionel Messi’s contract renewal is the club’s official announcement that the contract has been signed.
The Copa América champion will extend his stay at the Camp Nou for another five years, allowing Barcelona to sit back and relax, knowing that the future of its best player of all time is safe.
Additionally, this will give Messi the opportunity to further develop his legend before hanging up his boots or moving to MLS. But what is there left to achieve?
World Cup and Champions: the highest priority
What Messi wants most is to win the World Cup with Argentina and the Champions League with Barcelona. Winning the Copa America in only temporarily quenched his thirst, but now he believes that the World Cup is easier to win than ever. And if Laporta keeps his promise and builds a competitive team in Barcelona, maybe he can conquer Europe again.

The highest number of Messi titles
Before ending his career, Messi wanted to surpass his friend Alves to become the football player with the most championships. There are 44 Brazilians, while Messi has 38.
When only talking about the club championship, Messi is 35th behind Giggs.
Goals
If Messi can continue to score at his current pace, he will soon score 500 league goals, currently 27. In all competitions, he has only 33 points left to reach 800 points.
Cristiano and Messi
Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player in his career close to Messi, and both have won a considerable number of Golden Globes. Messi has five of the six Portuguese, and the Juventus forward is unlikely to get another. However, Messi may be seventh this year.
As for the number of goals scored in the Champions League, the two are also very close, although Messi is 16 points behind Cristiano, and the tenth player seems difficult to close the gap.
