Real Madrid crosses the Osasuna trap and narrows the gap with Barcelona

Real Madrid achieved a valuable victory (2-0) during the Osasuna match, this evening, Saturday, in the 22nd round of La Liga, at the “El Sadar” stadium in Pamplona.

Real Madrid goals were scored by Fede Valverde and Marco Asensio in the 78th minute (90 + 2).

With this victory, Real Madrid raised its tally to 51 points in the runners-up of the La Liga table and temporarily narrowed the difference to 5 points with leaders Barcelona.

The match began with Real Madrid’s control and possession of the ball, with the hosts retreating to Osasuna in their area.

The first threat in the match came in the 10th minute, as Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior took advantage of a fatal mistake from Moncayola and singled out goalkeeper Herrera, who brilliantly blocked the Brazilian’s shot.

Vinicius Junior added Real Madrid’s second goal in the 89th minute, as he received a cross ball inside the penalty area from his colleague Alvaro Rodriguez, where he received the ball to separate the goalkeeper and hit his lower right, but the match referee canceled it for offside.

Real Madrid did not give up, as Marco Asensio added the second goal in the 92nd minute, as he received a ball from Alvaro Rodriguez and hit it between the feet of goalkeeper Sergio Herrera.

The match ended with Meringue winning 3 valuable points, in the struggle for the La Liga title.
