Salah scored a hat-trick in six minutes with Liver!

Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick in just six minutes as Liverpool came from behind to thrash Rangers at Ibrox,

as the Scottish side were eliminated from the Champions League in the group stages.

A double from Roberto Firmino turned the match around to ease the pressure on Liverpool after Scott Arfield gave Rangers the perfect start and had Ibrox rocking when he fired past Alisson.

But Firmino then silenced the home crowd with a simple equaliser from a corner before the Brazilian struck his second as he tucked an excellent cross from Joe Gomez past Allan McGregor. Firmino then turned provider to set up Darwin Nunez,

who slotted in Liverpool’s third.

It went from bad to worse for Rangers as Salah came off the bench to score the fastest ever Champions League hat-trick,

while Harvey Elliott added a seventh,

providing a boost to Liverpool’s confidence ahead of Sunday’s clash against Manchester City.

Liverpool may have enjoyed a superb night at Glasgow Rangers on Wednesday,

thrashing the home side 7-1,

but Rio Ferdinand still fears for the ‘fragile minds’ in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

It was a memorable evening for the Reds,

as they scored six times in the second half,

including the fastest hat-trick in Champions League history as Mohamed Salah came off the bench to score three times in six minutes and 12 seconds.

However,

once again Liverpool conceded first,

with Scott Arfield putting Rangers ahead after 17 minutes, a probably that continues to blight the Reds so far this season as they struggle for results in the Premier League.

After defeat to Arsenal on Sunday,

Liverpool sit tenth in the top flight with just two wins from eight games,

and although the romp in Scotland will boost morale,

Ferdinand still thinks there will be weakness in the Reds’ confidence.

Jurgen Klopp looked at the assistant referee in front of the Sandy Jardine Stand and then glanced over his shoulder at the fourth official,
