Spain’s relentless pressure paid off when Morata scored the opening goal in the 22nd minute. Marco Asensio delivered a beautifully curved cross from the right, allowing Morata to rise and head the ball into the bottom right corner.

Just six minutes later, Spain added their second goal. Fabian Ruiz sent a cross into the box, which unintentionally deflected off Georgia’s defender Solomon Kverkvellia and into the net.
