World Cup Qatar 2022, African Qualifiers play-off draw
CAF WC 2022 play-off draw | World Cup Qatar 2022: The 10 qualifying teams will be divided into two tiers based on the official FIFA rankings published in November 2021. On Saturday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the draw dates for both the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifying and the Africa 2023 Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The FIFA Men’s World Cup has featured 32 teams in the last six editions since France in 1998. 31 countries will have the right to play with their host Qatar in regional qualifiers. It has been determined how many countries from each region will qualify: Africa (CAF): 5.
The 10 teams are:
Egypt vs Senegal
DR Congo vs Morocco
Cameroon vs Algeria
Ghana vs Nigeria
Mali vs Tunisia
The matches will be played between 23-29 March.
