On Wednesday, Real Madrid announced that 4 players from their ranks have been infected with the emerging coronavirus.

“The club declares Thibaut Courtois, Vidi Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Vinicius Jr infected with the emerging Coronavirus,” Real Madrid said, in an official statement.

Corona’s injuries have hit Real Madrid hard recently, with infections passed to Marco Asensio, Gareth Bale, Andrey Lunin, Rodrigo Joyce, Marcelo, Luka Modric, Isco, and David Alaba, as well as David Ancelotti, assistant coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Real Madrid sits first in the La Liga table with 46 points, edging second-placed Sevilla by 8 points.

Dembley’s stance on Barcelona

Barcelona star Frenchman Ousmane Dembley has dramatically moved away from the idea of staying at “Camp Nou” over the next season.

Dembley’s contract with Barca expires next summer and the French winger can sign for any club, starting next January.

According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Barcelona held a new meeting with representatives of Dembley, on Wednesday, to discuss the new contract.
She noted that the meeting saw tension on both sides, did not end as Barcelona officials had expected. And was a setback in renewal negotiations.

In the same vein, the French website le 10 sport says negotiations almost interrupted today between the parties, due to Dembley’s demands made by his representatives at the meeting.

According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo. Dimbly’s agent askes at the meeting, the Frenchman pay up to 40 million euros, plus a 20 million renewal bonus.
