Paris Saint-Germain differentiates Mbappe from Messi

Paris Saint-Germain didn’t care about Mbappe

France’s Paris Saint-Germain has not reacted, to the achievement of Kylian Mbappe, the team’s striker.

The Parisian club’s official social media accounts ignored Mbappe’s congratulations, winning the award for world player of the year during the Globe Soccer ceremony in Dubai, on Monday evening.

The PSG management has thus differentiated between the team’s top scorer and star over 5 seasons, and newcomer Lionel Messi, who joined early this season coming on a free transfer coming from Barcelona, Spain.

After Messi won the Ballon d’Or this year, for the seventh time in his history, the official accounts of the Parisian club flooded with congratulations to the Argentine star, devising more than one way to celebrate the first player to achieve this prestigious Saint-Germain shirt award.

The Parisian administration’s disregard for Kylian Mbappe’s achievement opens the door to speculation about a rift in the relationship between the parties, for the player’s procrastination in renewing his contract.

Kylian Mbappe’s contract with PSG expires at the end of the current season at the end of June 2022. With numerous reports linking him to a move to Real Madrid.
