Atletico Madrid reserved its seat in the quarter-finals of the King’s Cup, by defeating its host Levante with two goals without a response, in the match that brought the two teams together in the 16th round of the tournament.

After a negative first half for the two teams, Alvaro Morata managed to visit the home side in the 54th minute of the match that was held at Spotat de Valencia.

And in time instead of lost in the second half, Marcos Llorente scored the second goal for the guests per minute (90 + 1).

With this result, Atleti qualified for the quarter-finals at the expense of Levante, who left through the back door of the championship.
