Barca! Radamel Falcao’s goal prompts Barca to lose!!
Barca! sit tenth in La Liga, having won only four of their ten games,
and were defeated in Madrid by former Manchester United and Chelsea striker Falcao’s first-half goal.
Barcelona fired manager Ronald Koeman after losing for the fourth time in six games to Rayo Vallecano,
who won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Radamel Falcao.
Barcelona are currently in ninth place in La Liga,
having won only four of their ten games,
and were defeated in Madrid by former Manchester United and Chelsea striker Falcao’s first-half goal.
So, After Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets lost the ball in midfield, Colombian attacker Falcao pounced in the 30th minute,
allowing Rayo to launch a swift counter-attack that resulted in the goal.
Falcao finished off in style by reaching the back of the net after dribbling past Gerard Pique.
In the second half, Barca had a golden chance to equalise,
but Rayo goalie Stole Dimitrievski saved Depay‘s penalty.
Finally, Sergio Aguero had a couple nice chances on his debut appearance for the club,
with one of his best being a close-range header that barely missed the Rayo goal deep into second-half stoppage time.
So, Rayo Vallecano maintains their unblemished league home record this season,
having won all five of their games at the Estadio de Vallecas. With 19 points after 11 games, they are in fifth place in LaLiga.
So, Before being fired, Koeman said after the game:
“I’m not sure if my future is in jeopardy. We have players who can score goals. [Memphis] Depay, [Sergio] Aguero
