Bayern Munich defeats Hertha

In the thirteenth round of the German League on Saturday, Bayern Munich defeats Hertha Berlin (3-2) and earned a significant victory away from home.

In the 12th, 37th, and 38th minutes, Jamal Musiala and Chubu Moting scored goals for

Bayern, while Dodi Lukebakio and Davi Silki (on a penalty kick) scored goals for Herta in the

40th and 45th minutes.

With 28 points after the win, Bayern had a chance to briefly take the top spot in the

Bundesliga standings, while Hertha’s standings remained frozen at 11 points in position 14.

The opening 10 minutes went by without incident with the two goals until Herta’s threat

materialized with a ground cross. Davi Silky attempted to score with a deft touch, but Neuer

was on the alert.

After a rapid counterattack that Mane ended with a pass to Mosila inside the penalty area,

who then received it before firing a shot that found the back of the net, Bayern managed to

advance with a goal early in the game.

Mane nearly scored the second goal himself after unleashing a thunderous left-handed shot

that goalkeeper Oliver Christensen superbly deflected into a corner.

Richter brilliantly controlled the ball at the edge of the opponent’s penalty area before

turning and shooting into the far right corner, but the enormous Neuer was on the watch for it.
In the 37th minute, Chubu Moting capitalized on a ball that was put in front of him within

the penalty area after it had struck a defender by meeting it with a crawling ground shot

into the goal, of securing his team’s advancement.

A Bavarian torrent surged into the Hertha penalty area at the start of the second half, and if the hosts’ goalkeeper and defenders hadn’t made saves, it might have led to additional goals.
This stability, however, did not last long as Bayern managed to score again from a ground cross that Gnabry sent towards Chubu-Moting, which hit defender Rogel’s foot and turned into the goal. Herta, however, breathed a sigh of relief as the goal was overturned via the var due to offside, which gave Bayern some breathing room.

By the 63rd minute, Davies had sustained an injury that necessitated his replacement by Frenchman Lucas Hernandez, dealing Bayern a devastating blow.
Up until Herta mobilized at the end of the original time, trying in vain to tie the score in the closing seconds, the following minutes saw the absence of threatening possibilities on both goals.
