With goals from Martial, Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and McTominay, the ‘red devils’ won the third round of the English League Cup

Manchester United , beaten 3-1 last Sunday by Aston Villain a Premier League match, he took revenge against that same rival, whom he eliminated in the round of 32 of the English League Cup, with a 4-2 victory this Thursday at Old Trafford. Aston Villa went ahead twice on the scoreboard, with a goal from Ollie Watkins (48) and a goal against Diogo Dalot (61). The ‘Red Devils’ balanced the score successively, through Anthony Martial (49) and Marcus Rashford (67), before Bruno Fernandes (78) and Scott McTominay (90+1) put the definitive 4-2. The second half was therefore very different from the first, where only a direct corner kick by Douglas Luiz, saved on his line by McTominay, had caused a real shock.
