Messi’s bite ends a Parisian drama in the Princes’ Park

Paris Saint-Germain came out of the dark tunnel by defeating its guest, Lille, with a score (4-3), today, Sunday, in the 24th round of the French League.

The matter became more complicated for St. Germain coach Christophe Galtier by having to replace Nuno Mendes due to injury, to replace Juan Bernat.

The guests tried hard to equalise, and threatened Donnarumma’s goal with 3 attempts from Remy Capella, Angel Gomez, and Kimpembe, who almost accidentally scored in his own net.

In the last seconds, Kimpembe almost turned the scenario around with a third goal for Saint-Germain from a corner kick, which he headed next to the post.

Galte suffered a new shock in the first minutes of the second half, as he was forced to involve young striker Hugo Iketiki in place of Neymar, who suffered a sprained ankle.

Individual calamities did not come to Saint-Germain and its fans, as the referee awarded a penalty kick against Marco Verratti, from which Jonathan David scored the equalizing goal for the night.

The Parisian team was confused technically and organizationally, and its coach Christophe Galtier lost focus and control over his players, and Lille surprised him with a third goal scored by Bamba, after a wonderful long pass from Portuguese Andre Gomez.

The excitement increased in stoppage time, as the referee awarded a free kick, and the fans cheered for Messi, begging for a rescue touch, and the Argentine star achieved what he wanted, by hitting the ball into the net, to snatch his team an exciting and hard-won victory.
