The Moroccan national team defeated Brazil 2-1 in a friendly match that took place between them at Tangiers Grand Stadium, in the early hours of Sunday.
The goals of the Atlas Lions were scored by the duo Sofiane Boufal and Abdel Hamid Al Sabiri in the 30th and 78th minutes, while Casemiro scored Brazil’s only goal in the 66th minute.
Morocco achieved the first victory in its history over samba dancers, after the latter won two previous matches, a friendly score of 2-0, and in the 1998 World Cup in France, with a score of 3-0.
The match started with light pressure from the Moroccan national team, especially from the right side, and an opportunity was created for Hakim Ziyech, who fired a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but the Brazilian defense blocked the ball.

Ashraf Hakimi left the match, and Yahya Atiyatallah entered in the 58th minute and threatened Ezzedine Onahi with a powerful shot, which was blocked by the Brazilian goalkeeper, Weverton.
