Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema led his team to a 1-0 victory against Liverpool, this evening, Wednesday, in the second leg of the Champions League final.
In the “Santiago Bernabeu” stronghold, Benzema scored the only goal of the match in the 78th minute.
With this victory, Al-Merenji crossed into the quarter-finals with a score of (6-2) on aggregate.
Real Madrid had achieved a wide victory in the first leg at Anfield, with a score (5-2).
The match began with pressure from the guests, and Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, launched and passed a magic ball to his colleague Nunez, who was alone with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, but the latter shone in blocking the Uruguayan shot brilliantly in the 6th minute.
