Real Madrid regains its balance on the ruins of Valencia

Real Madrid returned to the path of victories, by defeating its guest Valencia (2-0) this evening, Thursday, in a postponed match for the 17th round of La Liga, at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With this victory, the royal team raised its score to 45 points, in second place in the La Liga table, 5 points behind leaders Barcelona, while Valencia froze at 20 points, in 14th place.

Benzema asked to leave the field, in the 61st minute, to be replaced by Rodrigo.

The Frenchman did not go to the bench, but went directly to the dressing room, amid questions from the fans present.

Gabriel Paulista, the Valencia player, intervened forcefully on Vinicius Junior, prompting the match referee to show a direct red card in his face, in the 72nd minute.

The referee awarded a direct free kick to Real Madrid, on the edge of the penalty area, and Rodrigo executed it forcefully, but Mamardashvili shone and turned it into a corner in the 90th minute before the match ended with the victory of the hosts (2-0).
