Liverpool defeated Leeds United 6-1 on Monday evening in the 31st round of the English Premier League, maintaining their hopes of qualifying for European competitions next season. First Half

Liverpool began the match with a dangerous opportunity in the seventh minute when Jack Harrison executed a free kick that Rodrigo headed toward Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson Becker. Liverpool missed a dangerous opportunity in the 51st minute when Jota picked up a ball from Henderson but shot wide of the goal.

However, Jota atoned for his mistake in the 52nd minute, adding the third goal for Liverpool after receiving an elaborate pass from Jones and facing goalkeeper Mesler, elegantly putting the ball over him. Leeds almost reduced the deficit again in the 58th minute when Aaronson picked up the ball on the outskirts of the Liverpool penalty area, hitting the crossbar.

Although a goal scored by Salah in the 60th minute was canceled by the referee, he went on to score his second personal goal in the 64th minute after receiving a pass from Jakbo and shooting into the deceptive corner of the goalkeeper. Jakopo made a remarkable effort before passing to Jota, who fired a shot over the goal in the 72nd minute, but a minute later, Jota added a second personal goal after meeting a cross pass from Henderson with one touch on the outskirts of the penalty area, the low ball settling into the net.
