Bayern accepts the gifts of Paris and reaches the quarter-finals of the champions

Bayern Munich repeated its victory over Paris Saint-Germain (2-0), today, Wednesday, at the Allianz Arena, in the second leg of the Champions League final.

The Bayern double carried the signature of Cameroonian Eric Choupo-Moting and German Serge Gnabry in the 61st and 89th minutes, to qualify the Bavarian giants to the next round by winning (3-0) on aggregate.

The danger appeared early from the Parisian team through a quick rebound that reached Mbappe, who penetrated into the penalty area and fired a shot, stopping Jan Sumer, blocking it from the net.

The response came from the owners of the land after a quarter of an hour via a creeping ground shot, which Mueller fired from outside the area, to settle in the arms of Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Mbappe received a ball again outside the penalty area, to receive it and set off at full speed, before shooting from the right side into the net from the outside.

Sumer almost implicated the hosts with a goal from a fatal gag after he slowed down to pass the ball, so Hakimi pounced on him, which led to the ball reaching Vitinia, who put the ball into the empty goal, but De Ligt appeared out of nowhere and pushed the ball away before it crossed the goal line.

The next minutes passed without anything new, and the first half ended with a goalless draw between the two teams.

Mouting blow

The Cameroonian striker made up for the canceled goal a few minutes later, after Verratti committed a fatal gag when he failed to pass the ball on the edge of the penalty area, so Mueller extracted it and passed to Goritska, who in turn passed it to Choupo Moting, to put the latter into the net easily.

Ramos was close to equalizing the score with a perfect header, but Sumer’s vigilance prevented the ball from reaching his net.

The Swiss goalkeeper returned to his goal by saving twice a ground shot fired by Mbappe from the left side of the penalty area.

And Leroy Sanneh received a long pass, to launch the ball alone towards the Saint-Germain penalty area, before he tamed it and hit it with his left hand while sliding on the grass, to pass next to the post.

Ramos almost hit Sumer’s net after he crossed from a corner, directing the ball with a perfect header, but it passed near the post.

And from a quick counterattack, substitute Gnabry fired a coup de grace at the guests, after he launched the ball into the penalty area and put the ball into Donnarumma’s net moments before the end of the regular time.

A minute later, Alfonso Davies was close to scoring a third goal with a powerful shot inside the penalty area, had it not been for Donnarumma’s skill in stopping it.

Sanneh passed a through ball to Mane inside the penalty area, and the latter put it with a direct touch into the net, but the referee considered the Senegalese player to be infiltrated and canceled the goal before the end of the match, with the hosts winning 2-0.
