The Algerian team maintained the top spot in Group F, after returning with a precious victory (2-0), from the stadium of its host, Tanzania, in the second round of the 2023 African Nations Cup qualifiers.

The two warriors were signed by Rami Ben Sabaini (45 + 2) and Muhammad Al-Amin Amora (89).
With this victory, Algeria raised its score to 6 points, 4 points ahead of Niger, which ranks second with two points, then Uganda and Tanzania in third and fourth places, respectively, with one point.
The first half witnessed a c autious start from both sides, and the most dangerous opportunity came in the 31st minute, when Adam Ounass received a pass from Youssef Blaili, he penetrated into the penalty area and hit a ball that was saved by the goalkeeper.
The response of the Tanzanians came one minute later with a Samata header that sidelined the post, following a precise distribution by his colleague Shumari.
While the referee was preparing to blow the whistle at the end of the first half, Rami Ben Sabaini opened the scoring for Algeria in the 45 + 2 minute, after following the ball of Issa Mandi.
The Algerian team tried to add a second goal, in the 57th minute, after Amin Amora penetrated the penalty area, where he distributed the ball to Youssef Belaili, but the latter’s header passed next to the post.
The Tanzanians tried to adjust in the 61st minute through a powerful shot from outside the area of operations, which was blocked by goalkeeper Rais Mbolhi.
Mohamed Amin Amora ended the Tanzanian team’s hopes of returning, after his success in scoring the second goal for the Algerian team in the 89th minute, with an unstoppable shot.
