Inter Milan”‘ resurrected its title ambitions with a 3-1 win over Cagliari in the 37th round of the Italian League today, Sunday.

Inter’s goals came from Mathieu Darmian (25) and Lautaro Martinho (51 and 84),
while Cagliari’s solitary goal came from Charalambos Likogiannis.
Inter’s score rose to 81 points, two points ahead of leaders Milan “83,” before the
competition’s last round, while Cagliari’s balance remained at 29 points in 18th position.
Perisic received the ball outside the area and fired the first shot of the game in the second
minute. The goalie cleared a powerful left-footed shot from distance with his fingertips to

Kragno’s left post.
Darmian scored the game’s opening goal in the 25th minute, rising to the right back of the
Nerazzurri and heading the ball into the net following a beautiful cross from Perisic from
the left to the far right.
After getting the ball outside the area in the 39th minute, Laotaro had a great chance to
penetrate and launch a creeping shot that was saved by Cagliari’s goalie, denying Inter the chance to tie the game.
Lautaro’s luck continued to be against him. The post stood in front of a powerful ground shot by Laotaro to bounce back to him and shoot a shot towards the net in the 45th minute, but the goalie kept it with his fingertips for a corner.
After a longitudinal ball from the defense to Laotaro, who started from the middle of the field to receive it properly and penetrated into the area, Lautaro doubled the goal with a ground shot into the net in the 51st minute of the contest.
After receiving the ball outside the box, Lykogiannis launched an unstoppable missile strike from a distance that Handanovic failed to cope with, Lykogiannis lowered the score barely two minutes after Inter’s goal.
In the 68th minute, substitute Keita squandered an opportunity to level the score for Cagliari. After a long ball, Keita managed to get past defender De Vri and into the goal, but he blasted the ball higher than the goal.
In the 78th minute, Perisic had a good chance to score when he met a cross from Dumfries on the right with a wonderful header, but it went just beyond of goalkeeper Kragno’s right post.
