Manchester City defeated its guest, Newcastle, with two goals without a response, today, Saturday, in the 26th round of the life of the English Premier League, at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City scored Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva in the 15th and 67th minutes of the match.
Manchester City raised its score to 58 points in the runner-up, two points behind leaders Arsenal, who will play against Bournemouth.
Newcastle’s balance froze at 41 points in fifth place, but it has two deferred matches.

Manchester City opened the scoring in the 15th minute, following a solo effort from Foden, who made his way, before penetrating skillfully, and hitting a ball that bounced off defender Putman’s foot into the net.
And Newcastle was unable to try to respond to the goal of the hosts, as a result of the control of the heavenly players.
And Ederson failed to deal with a free kick for Newcastle, and the defense removed it in time before a Newcastle player reached the ball in the 34th minute.
Newcastle came close to equalizing the score in the 37th minute, when Tripper’s header reached Wilson, who mishandled the ball inside the penalty area, to be pushed away by the defense.
In the second half, City seemed determined to consolidate its lead, and Grealish tried his luck with a shot over the goal in the 53rd minute, then Haaland performed an acrobatic move, but the ball settled in the stands in the 60th minute.
Newcastle’s performance improved with the participation of Joe Willock, Alan Saint-Maximin and Alexander Isaac, but City scored the second goal in the 67th minute, when Haaland cleverly put the ball towards substitute Bernardo Silva, who shot it to the left of Nick Pope.
Gundogan took a free kick for Manchester City, far from the goal, in the 78th minute.
And Bob saved his goal from a goal in the 86th minute, when he blocked Foden’s shot, following an individual effort from Grealish, so the match ended with Manchester City winning 2-0.
