In a sun-soaked Parc des Princes, where lovers of the capital’s club met for lunch: all the ingredients were there for a suggestive menu this Sunday. What tasty ingredients in the green rectangle, where Christophe Galtier decided to launch his magical trio Mbappé – Neymar Jr – Messi for his last outing before the World Cup. A single slogan: make this symbolic November 13 an ode to life, a celebration of the game, making networks vibrate and softening hearts.

With an ultra-defensive system embroidered around the trio, Christophe Pelissier did not make it easy for them. However, with a lot of creativity and intense pressure, our Parisians managed to break through the blockade quickly. In a magnificent triangle, Kylian Mbappé , assisted by Nuno Mendes , scored his 19th goal of the season in his first shot (1-0, 11th).

An opening score that did not change the configuration of the match. Against an Auxerre determined to cross the field, our players knew how to alternate long sequences of possession with disconcerting changes of pace. In that balance of power disputed in a good mood, the score did not change until the break, but the Parisians took off as soon as they returned from the locker room! In a new movement initiated by the left flank, this time it was Carlos Soler who finished off, with a well-placed header into the opposing net! (2-0, 50th).

On his way, the Spaniard took the opportunity to help his teammates, since less than 10 minutes later, he threw for Achraf Hakimi . Coming out like a rocket, the Moroccan adjusted Benoît Costil (3-0, 57th). A job well done to the Parisians.

Inevitably, the sequel was even tastier, like this Neymar Jr candy offering Messi a nice ball off the post. Winning training also for Christophe Galtier, who brought Ekitike – Renato Sanches onto the field, the first serving the second for the fourth goal no less than 5 minutes later! (4-0, 81st). The icing on the cake, the young attacker unlocked his counter by pressing well before concluding with conviction! (5-0, 84th).

The perfect conclusion to a game under the sign of the Indian summer, before we meet again, in more than a month to immerse ourselves in the long winter evenings. A great way, too, to show that Paris is and will continue to be a leader.
