The Czech national team taught its Polish guest a harsh lesson, by defeating it 3/1 today, Friday, in the framework of the first round of Group E competitions, within the European Nations Cup (Euro 2024) qualifiers scheduled for Germany.

In the other match in the same group, the Faroe Islands tied with its host Moldova 1/1.

And at Fortuna Arena, the Czech national team advanced with two goals in the first three minutes, through Ladislav Kreichi of Sparta Prague, and his colleague Thomas Kvenkara.

Jan Kochta, the Russian player for Lokomotiv Moscow, ensured the third goal in the 64th minute before Damian Szymanski responded with a goal for Poland in the 87th minute.

At Zimbru Stadium, Mads Bo Mikkelsen advanced with a goal for the Faroe Islands, in the 27th minute, but Ion Niculescu snatched the equalizing goal for Moldova, from a penalty kick three minutes before the end.
